Emergencies

The CHL has an autonomous emergency service that is operational 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and provides immediate medical and surgical emergency care by a medical and paramedical specialist’s team.

The emergency doctor carries out the examination of the patient in collaboration with the anesthetist resuscitator doctor as well as with specialist doctors if necessary. In case of need, the patient can benefit from a follow-up in hospital of the day if it is of a short duration. If it exceeds 12 hours, the doctor will request hospitalization of the patient in the adapted service in order to benefit from appropriate treatment and monitoring procedures.
